He is My Rock -- Yahweh Tsuri
Blessings, Beloved Women of God! Jesus has something special planned just for you today. Yes, it is your day for the remarkable to happen. I pray you will wait with hope and expectation for His love to touch you in a special way!
As I pondered a situation I faced this week, I thought about the Lord being my Rock. In Psalm 62:1-2 (NLT) it says, “I wait quietly before God, for my salvation comes from Him, He alone is my rock and my salvation my fortress where I will never be shaken.”
The Hebrew word Yahweh Tsuri means The Lord My Rock, which shows us that God is our stability, our strength, and our safety. No matter what we are facing we will not collapse because our knowledge is founded on the Rock of the truth. When you pray to the Lord your Rock, you are praying to the God who can always be counted on. By that, we can boldly say, in God alone we find our true refuge.
We can run to God alone for our protection, deliverance, refuge and security. Above all, we know that life will have its ups and downs, but the Lord our Rock will always surround us with His love and His strength no matter what. May you find refuge in the Lord being your Rock!
